My colleague and i both believed that this could be Derby or Bow. This example is larger than any of the known Derby examples. Secondly although Derby used a similar cell border pattern (as well as diaper) there are substantive differences.

We could only find two instances of this specific cell border variant and both are known to be Bow. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
