C. 18th RARE Museum Piece Antique Japanese Arita Blue and White Porcelain Bowl
Piece been inspected by several independent antiques experts and by Ashmolean museum Japanese porcelain curator - been confirmed that piece is genuine and authentic. Extremely rare Japanese "Arita" blue and white porcelain bowl.

Rare Japanese piece back from late 17th century to early 18th century. Condition: Piece in rare excellent condition, one thing to mention - minor/slight paint loss on top rim "copper ring". Please inspect pictures closely when "zoomed in". As for today just four similar bowls recorded in existence on a global scale, this one is 5th.

Nothing similar on private Japanese porcelain collectors hands. A little bit of background on this piece. Similar pieces cataloged at least in three different "Japanese" porcelain catalogs.

Similar one (in very poor condition) on exhibition at Ashmolean museum since 1978 - Ashmolean object reference link below. Gift to Ashmolean Museum from famous person and collector - Gerald Reitlinger.

Another two similar pieces are preserved at "Burghley House", both pieces been on display for some time. I was not able to take a real look at them two as they are preserved and i was not able to make arrangement to take a look at them. Measures unknown & condition unknown.

Last similar piece, location is: Twickel Castle, Delden, Holland - dimensions and condition - unknown. "The Burghley Porcelains", 1986, No. Twickel foundation, Delden, see Jorg, 2003, No.

Late 17th to early 18th century. Bowl's height from surface to top rim: 2.73 inch Diameter across top rim: 4.52 inch Diameter around top rim, on very top: 14.8 inch Height of the foot rim: 0.185 to 0.190 inch Diameter across foot rim: 1.96 inch.

I will play my part in it as much as possible on my end regarding all documentation which would be needed to export this piece. If you have any question (-s), please feel free to contact me, if i will be able to answer your question (-s) i will do that.
