Chinese blue and white plate, decorated in the centre with two scholars playing wei qi and an onlooker standing beside them, in the background rocks and a pine tree, the rim withfour cartouches with flower heads and leaves against a trellis background, the underside with four stylised flower heads, and a four-character mark within a double circle, diameter: 21.3 cm. , condition: minute frit and one shallow frit to the underside of the dish.
