Large Pair GINGER JAR with Lid porcelain Blue Double Happiness Chinese Late 19th C
A pair of large and impressive Chinese Ginger JARS w/ Original LIDS! Condition: This is a pair of very impressive and beautiful pieces in good condition for their age with no visible chips or cracks or unsightly wear on the jar. There is a tiny flake off the inside of the rim on the lid- it is not visible on the outside so no one will ever know it is there! Please see last picture above for close-up. They are 9-1/2 tall by 9 wide and the top rim opening is 4.75 diameter. They are Hand Painted with a Blue Double Happiness motif that is associated with Wedding Bliss.
