Rare Japanese piece back from late 17th century to early 18th century. Condition: Piece in rare excellent condition, one thing to mention - minor/slight paint loss on top rim "copper ring". Please inspect pictures closely when "zoomed in". As for today just four similar bowls recorded in existence on a global scale, this one is 5th.

Another two similar pieces are preserved at "Burghley House", both pieces been on display for some time. I was not able to take a real look at them two as they are preserved and i was not able to make arrangement to take a look at them. Late 17th to early 18th century. Bowl's height from surface to top rim: 2.73 inch Diameter across top rim: 4.52 inch Diameter around top rim, on very top: 14.8 inch Height of the foot rim: 0.185 to 0.190 inch Diameter across foot rim: 1.96 inch.
